Survivor Stories

#ALLABUSEDWOMENSLIVESMATTER!

hands heartAs I was asked to write my story in some form and think of a graphic symbol to help people understand, I thought of a phrase that made sense; that abused women’s lives matter!

This is not the way it is unfortunately in today’s society.

Another symbol is this symbol of love and caring, something which victims and survivors need more of, which we don’t get from those who have not been through it.

I have bled in front of officers and attorneys, yet received no response, only dirty looks and laughs, as though it is a laughing matter.  It is no laughing matter.  It is a serious matter, one that is not taken seriously.

I have survived, lifted myself up and am rebuilding my life, through the help of a few.  I am one of the lucky ones; A SURVIVOR, WHILE THERE ARE THOSE PRECIOUS WOMEN AND CHILDREN WHO HAVE NOT SURVIVED.  IT IS OUR JOB AS SURVIVORS TO SPEAK AND STAND UP FOR THEM!

It is time things changed to help abused women!

Our lives matter!
